訃聞 - 綠園草地滾球會 黎耀榮先生 (Mr Willie Lai)

本會創會會員及現任副會長 黎耀榮先生 於2016 年3 月13 日(早上)不幸因病離世。

黎耀榮副會長於1996 年與眾好友成立綠園草地滾球會(GLBC) – 多年來當選為本會會長／副會長／常務委員, 並擔任本會球會召集人及聯賽隊長; 盡心盡力為本會效勞，鞠躬盡粹，貢獻良多。

黎耀榮副會長球技精湛, 在滾球界往績輝煌, 廣結各方球友, 亦是備受愛戴的滾球教練, 授徒無數 - 毫無置疑是GLBC 成立以來最重要的代表人物(icon)。

The Hong Kong Police Lawn Bowls Club 110th Anniversary Invitation Tournament (Issued on 12/5/15)

To celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Police Lawn Bowls Club and the opening of new club greens at Police Sports and Recreation Club in this year of goat, the HKPBC will be organizing a Lawn Bowls Invitation Tournament on a consecutive Saturday and Sunday on the 11th and 12th July 2015 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club at Boundary Street, Kowloon.

 

Obituary Notice Mr Jaime Rosario (Issued on 18/3/15)

A senior Club Member of ours Mr Jaime Rosario who is well known as Sa Goh among friends, working as the senior engineer in WSD of Hong Kong has passed away on last Thursday 12 March morning at HKSAR Office. He has been very active in serving the lawn bowl circle of Hong Kong. He was our B Team Captain for a long time, and he had served as the Umpire in many HKLBA events. Many spectators would have seen his face in the annual International Classics serving as the Umpire before his retirement a few years ago.
